ASHLEY LIBYS

COMFETECH
Designed a Technology Hub known as "Comfetech" to serve as an extension to the existing library in downtown Baton Rouge. The existing building is two stories and is located at 101 St. Ferdinand Street. The design concept focuses around making technology influenced design feel welcoming and comfortable to users. Bright colors, curves, and natural wood is combined with industrial metal, orthogonal shapes, and concrete to create a comfortable blend of industrial design to feel homey. This library extension was designed with the future in mind and intended to have machinery or Robots operate the facilities. Along with the design, way finding was also included in the design solution. Renders were developed through the program Revit and edited in Photoshop.
